What is the difference between Vidine and Fast Video Cataloger?

Fast video cataloger is the professional version of Vidine. It has all Vidine features and many more. Currently we are offering everyone Fast Video Cataloger for the same price as Vidine.

Where do I find my license?

You will be emailed you license key and the download link a few minutes after signup. Make sure to check you spam folder as well. The email also includes a link to the member area where you can always download the latest version of the software and give feedback on what you would like to see in future versions.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In the email you get when subscribing you will see “Click here to manage your orders”. Click on that to be taken to your account page. If there are any issues contact our support at support@videocataloger.com.

What happens when I cancel my subscription

You account will be active until the end of the payment period. Once your subscription expires you can still continue to use the program and view your collection.

Can I keep the software if I cancel?

Yes, you won't get access to updates to the software but you can continue to view your collections even if you are no longer a subscriber.

Which video formats do you support?

Our test suit includes videos in avi, wmv, asf, mp4, m4p, mp41, m4v, mpeg, mpg, vob, qt, divx, mpeg2, rm, 3gp, flv, f4v, flv, mkv, mov, mxf, ogm, ogv, rmvb, swf, mts, m2ts, mxf, lxf, gxf, wmv. Vidine uses Microsofts Directshow technology for video frame capture and in the integrated video player. Just about any video format is supported provided you have a direct show codec installed on your computer.

Does it also handle picture files?

Yes. Videos can have a list of companion images and a front and back cover. Actors can have a list of companion images or folders.
